If you really want to know what's happening on the ground, outside the Green Zone, read it. Things are getting better and it's the Iraq government and Iraq people who are beginning to pull their weight. In other words the 'Surge' is Working.
Media coverage went from a near monopoly ... to a nearly capsized boat as journalists flooded in ... to see the fight. They managed to miss most of it.What gives Michael the edge over the MSM is that he stays with the operations in the field. He does not go back to the safety of the Green Zone at every opportunity. He also reports it as he sees it - the good, the bad and the ugly.
